Following the security regulations in the open sea navigation is getting more and more a higher priority. The International Safety Management (ISM) can be seen as the ISO-9000 of navigation. Due to national and international influences coming from policy or economy, the security regulations do change often. Therefore one needs an efficient QM system to keep the ISM documents up to date. CODie ISMAN also offers with the module Tiquam a solution. Tiquam stands for The integrated quality manager.



Tiquam combines the electronic QM-manual and a database with filled out check lists and job instructions under one surface. This is done by the HTML-like document format. It offers the usage of input elements like text fields, check boxes, tables etc. The integration of external documents of different formats (PDF, DOC, TXT, JPG …) is of course also possible. It also provides a history function like in internet browsers, a standard und full text search and the possibility to link documents.
