Update management

One practically does all steps to create a document with the company module (the editor), starting from the first step by typing the text to releasing the document by giving it a new release number and at the end the deployment of the document at its final destination.

An individual document can be created for each branch office (in this case the vessel). But in the most cases documents are used by several ships mutually. Therefore the documents only need to be created once. When a new version of a document is released, the old one will be replaced automatically. With the help of the “Update Management” the new version will be deployed to all affected vessels. All released documents (including external ones) are encoded to be secured from any manipulations.
